THE TEACHER
John 14:26 – But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
II Peter 1:3 – According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Students attend school, they have a teacher who gives them books and teaches them out of those books, and the teacher gives her students homework.
The teacher gives them tests to see what they’ve learned.
This teacher has assistants.
The schoolhouse is the Church building.
The homework is our Bible study and prayer at home.
In prayer, we ask our Heavenly Father to help us understand what we are studying: and the Holy Spirit will give us the answer.
This book, the Bible, has many Books, It covers all things concerning life and godliness.
We are the students.
If we never open the Book or if we never go to school or Church we write our own book and make God whoever we want Him to be.
Like learning in school 2+2=4. That is correct math. This teacher (the Holy Spirit) says, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man cometh to the Father but by Him (Jesus Christ). Jesus is grace and truth.
How do I have this knowledge? I learned it from the Teacher and His Book at Church and at home.
II Peter 3:18 – Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
II Chronicles 20:1-4 – It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammorites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
And Judah gathered themselves together to ask help of the Lord:
Our eyes are upon the Lord.
Prayer acknowledges our faith in God and Him alone.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
When we pray and seek Him, He becomes involved in our situations.
He tells us be not afraid nor overwhelmed by what we see.
He will give us direction.
God always speaks to me in His Word and gives me direction, my faith is increased and I begin to praise and worship Him: for the battle is not mine but the Lord’s.
God fights my battles.
I fight the good fight of faith.
Through prayer I cast my cares upon Him.
Victory is always promised.
God sends His angels.
God will give you rest.
REVELATION
I CORINTHIANS 2:9-10
BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NEITHER HAVE ENTERED INTO: THE HEART OF MAN, THE THINGS WHICH GOD HATH PRPARED FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM.
BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT; FOR THE SPIRIT SEARCHETH ALL THINGS, YEA, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.
THE BIBLE SAYS THE NATURAL MAN CANNOT RECEIVE THE THINGS OF GOD . IF A PERSON RECEIVES JESUS INTO THEIR HEART BY FAITH, THEY CAN BE LED BY GOD THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD, AND THE INNER VOICE OF GOD. AS A CHRISTIAIN GOD PUTS WITHIN MY SPIRIT A HUNGER AND THIRST FOR HIM. AS I AM FILLED WITH HIS SPIRIT EVERDAY HE REVEALS THE PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE. I HAVE A PURPOSE; A DETERMINED END. OUR GREATEST DESIRE AS A CHRISTIAN IS TO KNOW GOD AND LOVE HIM. HE DIED FOR US ON THE CROSS. WE MUST DIE DAILY FOR HIM, TO OUR OWN DESIRES, AND JESUS WILL GIVE US HIS DESIRES. WE CAN DO ANY THING OR HAVE ANYTHING THAT IS HIS WILL.
PERSONALLY I DESIRE A HARVEST LIKE JONAH.
PERSONALLY I WANT MORE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
PERSONALLY I WANT TO SEE THE SICK HEALED.
PERSONALLY I WANT MY NEEDS MET.
HERE WE HAVE SOME DESIRES THAT ARE GOD’S WILL FOR US. THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS SAID, YES AND AMEN. GOD WANTS TO BLESS US WITH REVELATION AND POWER . WE CHRISTIANS HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.
EPHESIANS 3:20
NOW UNTO HIM THAT IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE CAN ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKETH IN US.
THAT POWER OF GOD IS WORKING IN US, TO DO MIGHTY THINGS IN US ,THROUGH US, AND FOR US. GOD HAS PREPARED THINGS FOR US THAT IS BIGGER THAN US. ONLY THROUGH OUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM CAN WE EVEN HAVE THE FAITH TO ASK HIM FOR THESE THINGS.
MY FAITH HAS GROWN SO MUCH AND HAS BEEN STRETCHED. SOMETIMES I GO THROUGH DRY SPELLS WHERE I DON,T FEEL GODS PRESENCE, MY PRAYERS SEEM TO NOT GO ABOVE TTHE CEILING, BUT I HAVE LEARNED THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. FEELING IS WONDERFUL BUT WE DON’T LIVE BY FEELING, BUT BY FAITH. GOD IS STILL THE SAME IF WE FEEL HIM OR NOT, HIS PROMISES ARE STILL YES AND AMEN. THE FEELING WILL R ETURN, BUT FAITH WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.
BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT.
GIFT OF FORGIVENESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
MANY TIMES PEOPLE HAVE PURCHASED NICE GIFTS FOR ME. SOMETIMES IT WAS A SACRIFICIAL GIFT, GIVEN OUT OF LOVE.
THE GREATEST GIFT EVER GIVEN TO MANKIND WAS GIVEN BY OUR CREATOR. THE GREATEST INSULT IS TO REJECT THAT GIFT. NONE OF US WOULD REJECT A GIFT FROM SOMEONE WHO LOVES US, WHO MEANS US NO HARM IN GIVING THE GIFT, IT IS AN ACT OF LOVE.
UNDESERVING AS WE ARE, OUR CREATOR HAS A GIFT FOR US, IT IS A GIFT OF FORGIVENESS, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. IT ONLY COMES IN ONE PACKAGE.
ROMANS 6:23
FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
JESUS IS THAT GIFT. I WAS SPIRITUALLY DEAD, WITHOUT THE LIFE OF GOD. I WAS BORN A SINNER, SEPERATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD, UNRIGHTEOUS, I WAS. BUT WHEN I CALLED ON THE LORD BY FAITH. HE FORGAVE MY SIN AND IMPUTED TO ME HIS RIGHTEOUSSNESS, WHAT A GIFT IN THE SAME BOX.
ROMANS 5:17
FOR IF BY ONE MAN’S OFFENCE, DEATH REIGNED BY ONE; MUCH MORE THEY WHICH RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTOUSNESS SHALL REIGN IN LIFE BY ONE, JESUS CHRIST.
JOHN 3:16
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
WHAT A GIFT TO THE WHOLE WORLD, WHOSOEVER WILL RECEIVE THIS GIFT BY FAITH SHALL BE A RECIPIENT OF FORGIVENESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
TO RECEIVE, SAY FROM YOUR HEART, JESUS, FORGIVE ME AND COME INTO MY HEART, I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE RESURRECTED SON OF GOD. I RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE, IN JESUS’ NAME.
